A graduate in Business Studies Phil Williams is a chartered fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development and a fellow of the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Management.
His early career was in manufacturing and the oil industry. From 1988 to 2005 he was a member of the Executive Board of Vodafone Group Plc one of the UK’s largest international companies and managing director of the group’s charitable trust.
He has also been active in the voluntary sector for many years and between 1989 and 2004 he was a Governor of Newbury FE College. Since 2005 Phil has provided consultancy services to Vodafone Group and other FTSE 100 companies and he is a board member and Trustee of a number of charities.
