Retired wine trader who had bowel cancer attempts climbing challenge

A former patient is climbing Mount Snowdon this summer to raise money for Occtopus to say thank you for the support and treatment he received throughout his cancer journey.

After several health knock-backs throughout his treatment, Richard aged 74 from Moreton in Marsh, now has a new love for life and wants to live each day like it is his last. Despite not being fully back to fitness, he will be climbing Snowdon with his two sons this summer to show that cancer does not need to define you and life can go on.
